Douchebags who comment on internet memes at Memebase bitching about reposts. Yeah we get it. You're a ****ing loser who has seen every meme ever posted on the internet and has nothing better to do than show everyone how cool he is by making it obvious just what a ****ing loser you are.

People who call their significant other "babe" and it sounds like "beb", and it also sounds like they're CALLING THEIR SIGNIFICANT OTHER A BABY. That is weird. Why the hell would you freaks do this?

Also it just makes me think of Robert Plant, and I'm 100% sure that anyone who can seriously call their significant other beb/bebby (that's seriously what it sounds like) with a straight face hasn't ever heard a single Led Zeppelin album.

^ that is because you hate all things child related

I do have a similar issue with people that likes to use "daddy" as a term of endearment. It ends up just sounding like they are big time into incest roleplay/fantasies.

not really; it just sounds stupid to call a grown adult a baby. Babies are small and helpless; if someone called me "baby" and expected to get into my pants, they wouldn't get past making eye contact with me before I shut their shit down.

I also think the "daddy" thing is creepy.

I don't want to be thinking of my father when I look at my significant other.

I got daddy in my name u mad?

I've never heard it pronounced it that way but it sounds like it would be hilarious.

Unless you're actually talking to your daddy that has got to be supercreepy. I mean, why would you use that term? As you say, the immediate connotations are of incest.

I guess the only acceptable exception is

I find 'babe' a bit :o: too tbh.

djchameleon 04-08-2014 05:43 AM

I'm fine with babe, baby, hun and all those others. The only one that I can't go along with is the daddy one.

The internet has decided that "bae" is a new form of saying babe but I'm not on board yet with that either.
