more things that might someday trigger a homicidal rampage:
  • When I see a customer (wherever I am) doing something stupid, rude, or generally quite lazy (i.e.; putting random items where they obviously don't belong or leaving their basket at the end of a checkout lane instead of giving it to their cashier).
  • When a customer in my store takes one shoe from the rack, parks their ass several feet away on a bench to try it on, and they just leave the shoe there. I always glare at them, hoping they will know my disapproval of their stupidity and my genuine hope that they die before they get a chance to breed.
  • When I'm driving 5mph OVER the speed limit already, and someone passes me. Seriously? What the hell is wrong with people?
  • When people leave their kids unattended and they find me, spewing their nonsense babble at me and following me around like they're trying to imprint on someone who's not a total fucking baboon like their parent.

I love the progression from "Titanic drawing" to "Kate Winslet tits"

More like 35 in the city; speed limit's 35 and I never drive past 40 because I don't want a speeding ticket, and I'm not a complete idiot. Other people... not so much; only the sharp of mind will survive. I always fear I'll fall victim to an idiot who shouldn't have a license because I know I'll never be to blame for a collision.

If they didn't cut your hours down in favor of someone who actually did their job, they were doing things the wrong way.

Haha not a chance. Most of my old supervisors were super chill. One almost started a fire in the backroom by dumping an entire can of coffee mate on a liter standing on a trolley. The flame went to the roof and singed his hair and eyebrows. Good times.

It would have been hilarious if someone got mad at me for walking by cheese strings in the wrong spot and not walking them back to their rightful spot. Theres a certain inefficiency that comes with trying to perfect.

I think it's a bit fast for roads in business districts, especially when you're weaving in and out of traffic without a second thought for the safety of others. 45-50 is a proper/safe speed for country highways. I avoid the freeway because driving 65-70+ is way too many horses for me (and I don't want to fucking die in my car - kill me anywhere else, but NOT IN THE CAR. NOT. IN. THE. CAR.).

They should at least be thrown away at that point. After they've thawed, they probably shouldn't be returned to the case. OSHA would have a field day with that shit. I'm glad I don't work in a grocery anymore; I probably would have killed someone for being an idiot by now.
