Oh why couldn't you make this post tomorrow when I don't have any finals to study for. Going through these Simpsons pictures is bringing back so much nostalgia and a little bit of shame when I can remember what the quote was.

Early Simpsons is the best

Not to go off-topic (not that it matters in such a silly thread) but I find the earliest episodes of The Simpsons almost unwatchable. I much prefer the middle era a couple of seasons after it's debut.

Blasphemy!

Anyways the clip I showed is like season 8 or 9, so hardly EARLY simpsons, but I use the term loosely.

Like nearly all shows (South Park springs to mind for me, and others have described Seinfeld like this) take at least a season to kinda figure out what they're doing. I can look back and watch the first season of South Park or The Simpsons now and get that warm, fuzzy nostalgic feeling, but with both shows I think they take off in terms of quality a little later. For example, my favorite South Park episode is "Rainforest Schmainforest" (first episode of Season 3) and for The Simpsons it's "Camp Krusty" (first episode of Season 4)...
