Default Things you don't understand spending a lot of money on?

For me, it's watches.
4 grand on something that tells the time?
It doesn't tell the time any quicker or better, you only bought it so you could swing your cock around and be Mr. Bigshot.

What things gets on your nerves when someone spends an excessive amount on it?

That's £360 for 800 minutes a month and unlimited texts.
Would you say that's a ridiculous amount of money?

Slaters gonna slate, but still 4 grand for you to be approached by strangers and asked "what's the time" as you panic and pray to god the time's an easy number - either on the hour, quarter past, half past or quarter to.

4 grand for that privilege? No thanks.

Haha, I totally agree. I was at a friend's bachelor party a couple months ago and got stuck listening to this douchebag who was there going on and on about his watch collection. Easily one of the most boring conversations of the year for me.

Talking about your watch collection is a socially acceptable way of standing up going I've got lots of money! I've got lots of money! Look at me, look at me!
What an absolute twat.

Excessive amounts of money on suits as well, I don't fully understand that one.
A nice suit, yes.
£300-£500.
Anything more than a grand then that's ridiculous.
Only a finely trained eye can tell the difference between a nice suit and a ridiculously priced suit.

Weddings as well.

amirite?

Are you saying you have trouble telling time on a non-digital clock? Yikes.

^That's a pretty good description of everything this guy does. That same night he actually told me with a straight face that he hates poor people.

No, I'm saying I don't enjoy the awkward silence.

"Excuse me, have you got the time?"

"Yeah sure, errr.... errr.... errrrr.... 23 minutes past."

It's an extremely uncomfortable 20 seconds and I do not enjoy it.

Money shouts, class whispers.
