I was eating lunch the other day, and she was sitting all alone. Next thing you know, a group of jerks come over and start making fun of the way she looks. I wish I could've done something... :(

I plan on informing her on how beautiful she is one day. She always seems so sad and lonely and I just want to make her day a little better because she's bullied daily.

If you weren't a girl (right?) i'd say ask her out. Anyone that still teases in school these days are just douchebags. Cheer her up, it sucks feeling guilty, so try and help her out next time.

Mexico arrests alleged 14-year-old hitman

This just pisses me off and gets me sad.

If I was a dude I'd definitely ask her out. Honestly, I'd kill to look like her.

I'm going to cheer her up. It honestly pains me to see her get made fun of like that. According to my friend who knows her cousin, it's been going on for quite a while :(

I guess you should :).
Worth the try. And if she thinks you're a creep, well then at least she knows that you think she's beautiful :).

I really wonder what she looks like now.

Definitely console her...and next time that happense, do your best to stand up for her. Just a comment like ''Hey, get a life!'' or something like that will suffice, the shock value of someone standing up for her should be enough to push them away. They obvious see nobody protecting her, including herself, so she's an easy target. And if you have any friends at that school, ask them to help you defend her too.

Careful what you wish for there.
You are a beautiful girl and usually when a (hetereosexual, not sure whether you are, if you're not, you might want to ask her out anyway) girl really likes the looks of another girl, she's usually not all that attractive to boys.
That is not always true, but I have gotten that impression over the years.
So you might not want to look like here. Not sure.

unfortunately, I don't have any friends anymore at my school for pretty much no reason, but I feel that maybe I should stand up to those jerks. Honestly I die a little inside when I see her sad.

:).
You actually make me smile.
I hope there's something you can do.

I think standing up for her might be good...and maybe you can make friends with her. Ask if you can join her when you see her sitting alone, who knows, it could be a great friendship.

Why can't you ask her out? Assuming the school you're talking about is your high school, I know it can be tough to be openly out in high school and face the negativity you often get from other students, and you may not want to court that kind of hate. But there are several openly out same-sex couples at the high school where I work and they rarely get hassled by other students. ...Then again, it is in Southern California and we tend to have a more progressive viewpoint about some things than other areas of the country. (Well, at least the young people here do, if not the adults.)

If the school you're talking about is college, I wouldn't think anyone there would have an issue with same-sex couples. College is a bigger place than high school, much less insular, and I'd think it would be easier to be who you are in a bigger place, around people who are mostly focused on their studies and don't have time to care about what other people are doing.
