My cat trying to tell me something but I can't figure out what he means.
He then gives up and lays down or goes away. Makes me feel really guilty. Not being able to help people makes me feel sad too, but that's not always a little thing.

Anything in the media regarding child abuse whether physically or mentally upsets me a lot.
A young lad wheelchair bound who went to the same school as my 12 year old died recently but managed to get a dream trip to disneyland. My son spoke to him on many occasions and he was around a lot on my local street doing his thing, so I did find this a downer but also pleased that he got to enjoy a life's dream. Bless. Tragic teenager Matthew Archibald, who fought all his life against a rare hereditary condition, has died on a dream trip to Florida. | News | Gloucestershire News

Which was my original point, if you don't have the HP nostalgia attached to the books I feel super bad for you. I don't know about you but I aged pretty much at the same rate as Harry and it was ****ing awesome. But nevertheless, I don't judge you or hold it against you that you don't like books more than movies. It's your choice, but it's not my particular preference.

It makes me sad seeing people with a physical appearance that others make fun of, it's not their fault how they look!

A video. Just 3 minutes, but it's one of the saddest things I've seen lately. A young man is killed in Curitiba (Brazil). Few minutes later his dog arrives at the scene of the crime, sees the dead body and... well... images speak for themselves. The poor animal cries, licks the man's arm and even lifts it up, as if he was trying to take his life back.
In a neighborhood (like many others in the whole world) where so many human lives are destroyed (both physically and psychologically), that little dog shows much more "humanity" than many people in this world.

^ That made me tear up a bit.
For me, I'm sad when I see people eating at restaurants alone. This is especially true when I'm out with a large group of friends having a good time at a sit-down restaurant, and I see someone looking miserable and sitting alone in a booth. It always seems really lonely to me. A lot of times, I'll try to strike up conversation with them, smile at them, or just try to do something to make their day if I can. Also, one of the saddest things I'd ever seen that I remember is going to a bakery that was going out of business when I was about 12. They had all of these beautiful cakes and pastries and such that I could tell they put painstaking detail into, and they had to sell them for a fraction of what they were worth because they were going out of business. Definitely made me extremely sad. |

Now, there's this beautiful girl in one of the english classes, and she always looks so sad. She's not beautiful in the "I wear lots of eyeliner and I look like a porcelain doll" way, but she's got the most BEAUTIFUL eyes I've seen on a person, and I swear that she has one of the prettiest noses on the planet. I was eating lunch the other day, and she was sitting all alone. Next thing you know, a group of jerks come over and start making fun of the way she looks. I wish I could've done something...
I plan on informing her on how beautiful she is one day. She always seems so sad and lonely and I just want to make her day a little better because she's bullied daily. Last edited by Dayvan Cowboy; 12-04-2010 at 05:46 AM. |
