A bit of eggnog that's (covertly or not) 40%+ Sailor Jerry, for example. Makes the holidays quite manageable.

I'd rather drink cat piss than 20/20, but when I'm around the parents during holidays, the only reason I don't drink cat piss is because it probably doesn't get you drunk. I will drink any alcoholic drink you put in front of me at that point.

My affection for eggnog wasn't undying, though. Now that I don't eat eggs and dairy products because people kill the millions of baby brother chicks of egg-laying hens, and raise most of the hens in awful conditions, and take the male calves away from the mothers to kill them at a young age, I like to drink soynog around the winter holidays. Soynog puts me in a festive mood; eggnog makes me sad...and then angry. I like that soynog doesn't involve anyone hurting and eventually killing livestock animals. Another advantage of soynog is that, unlike eggnog, it contains healthful fats (rather than saturated fats in cream) and zero cholesterol. Yet soynog retains a sweet, spicy nutmeg flavor. There are some pretty good vegan recipes for soynog that you can make at home (Spiced Vanilla Soy Nog: Sixth Day of Vegan Treats. - Healthy. Happy. Life.). And no fears of salmonella poisoning, as with eggs! Soynog: ...made from soybeans...which even look like mini-eggs!

soynog is actually really good....a great alternative for those with lactose problems and those who choose a cruelty free diet

I don't think there's a place that sells eggnog over here, so I'm pretty much planning on doing my own this year. I'm an eggnog virgin!
