aw yeah. I just had an argument with my housemate about this, actually. She stated that America has the best political system in the world, and the dialectic went:
Me - "Wow, you've studied every political system in the world?" Her - "Well, we have the highest standard of living." Me - "Eh, no we don't. We examined this in my Econ class last year. There's some kind of index that ranks the quality of living in countries, and although the US is up there, I distinctly remember it wasn't number one." RVCA: 1, Housemate: 0 |
