Awkward social situations

When you're talking to a girl you see some interest in, and then at some point she mentions having a boyfriend and you lose 95% of your interest in her and the conversation, but you're already semi-deep in the conversation and you'd feel too much like an ass to just abruptly walk away or tell her you don't care.

I have so many awkward social situations. I'm just an awkward person I guess. I'll edit this and add some stories once I think of some good ones.

He is exactly right. I think I overcompensate sometimes and seem more interested than before. Boyfriend bomb will get ya.

That happened to me last week,the best bit being her boyfriend was observing the scene throughout.
