Yeah, of course I shake hands. Actually I have to say one of my big pet peeves is people who give bad handshakes. I hate getting the cold fish.

Me too. I'm the worst at it, and it always happens. If I go in for a kiss, they don't. If they go in for the kiss, I don't. Very awkward.

Aw, I'm from a non-hugging family too but I love hugs! They're the best. I give everyone hugs. Which probably equates to a lot of awkward social situations. But I also give very good handshakes.

I like hugs too, it's just not my first instinct to initiate them.

the new guy at work tends to forget to flush. five times now in the last two months i've walked in to find a big brown surprise staring up at me. i still have not been able to confront him about it...

so actually i guess this is more about avoiding an awkward social situation, but i figure that's ok...

The kiss on the cheek during a hug is sooooooo awkward man. Or when you say "i love you" to a male friend who takes it the wrong way...

It's more awkward just the fact that a girl is saying that to a guy friend. Puts the guy in an awkward spot. Girls, quit saying it. It's stupid.

So someone says something and you "hahahahaha, god I love you" completely meaning you appreciate how funny they've just been. You're stupid if you think I shouldn't appreciate my friends. I say it equally to females n don't see why I shouldn't say it to guys at all.

In that context it's cool. I was thinking of it in the context of "ok, see ya later, love you"

That's disgusting. The awkward conversation will be a lot more awkward for him than you. Just say, "Hey, do you mind flushing after each time you use the toilet?" or simply put a sign saying PLEASE FLUSH, caps for dramatic effect.

FETCHER. 12-08-2010 08:45 AM

Vote the please flush sign :)
