Is it normal to be fixated on talk shows like Jeremy Kyle? I used to absolutely detest them, but now I find myself taking some level of satisfaction from watching a couple that so obviously shouldn't be together take a lie detector test only to find out the other lied when they said they "only cheated 15 times in 6 months" when really they cheated 20 times...

As long as I am reffered to as 'the GVT' meaning 'grote vriendelijke trol', which is then, in English 'BFT'. I think you can see where that is coming from :).
"BFG" is "GVR" (Grote Vriendelijke Reus) here :)

Which then makes no sense, since i'm only 1,80m.
