so what do you guys reckon, what movie has the best ending?

or the funniest, worst, least expected.. stuff like that..

Secret Window. I love that film... Except someone ruined the ending for me before I saw it, but thats not the point.. Twas an awesome book too.

Ive never actually gotten to the end of The Others, Ive started to watch it twice now but I got bored..
OOOH I thought of another one: The Village. I only saw that the other day and that was fun

i haven't seen it yet ...
but even though "the others" bored you, the ending was weird.. the mother and the 2 kids were the ghosts and those who they thought that were ghosts were actually the living people. that was pretty cool i guess

Oh right.. Wierd. I should really watch it all some day. Oh well, Ill save that for another sick day stuck at home.
I guess the 6th Sense was a pretty good twist... Only the first time round though, after hearing everyone talk about it for the next year or so made it get kinda tiring.

I was gonna say most of M.Night Shyamalan's films have good twists, but then I thought of Signs, and how much I hate that film. That twist was the worst twist ever.

hehe yeah and it's always so annoying when a film becomes so popular and stuff.
and about the "6th sense", yeah, it's very similar to "the others" ending, that's probably how you remembered about it, right? :)

And jibber, I would pick the Village over Signs any day.. That film just bugged me so much. Those aliens could jump up ontop of a house with no difficulty, yet they couldnt open push open a wooden door?! And then in the end their weakness is water. Thats it. Thats the twist... Theyre killed by freaking WATER.
The only thing I enjoyed about that film was when the alien walked past the kids party and I jumped outta my skin.. Heh, that was fun.

haha, yeah but signs was funny, I spent the entire time making fun of it with my friend, and laughing at the two girls we were with who jumped in litterally every scene. The village was just pointless. You find out it's juts a bunch of whackjob hippies living in a comune like a bunch of pioneers and the last last hour of the movie is utterly pointless.

I found "closer" had a really weird ending..i actually thought it was a pretty pointless movie all the same..but the ending just kind of brought everything back to square one..

i think the ending fits perfectly with the beginning...

The ending of Silence of The Lambs is good.... The worst ending in my opinion is the ending to The Blair Witch project.

So, so true. The Village was awful. I saw that around the time the new Manchurian Candidate came out- another horrible ending.

I like the ending for Usual Suspects....mmm, I can't think of anymore right now...get back to me later.

I loved the ending to Edward Scissorhands... When I was little I actually believed it was him when it was snowing, I used to go looking for him... Heh I was dumb.

theres lots of good endings but my favorite by far is the end of fight club.

Usual Suspects, Fight Club, Dogville, Trainspotting, American Beauty all have pretty good endings. Ususal Suspects, American Beauty and Fight Club probably clinche it

Have you read the book? A lot of people have told me it's a great read, and a bit different from the movie.

Everytime I think about the ending, I have "Where is My Mind" playing inside my head. Overall, great great movie.

I havnt gotten around to reading the book although I would really like too.

I like the end of the Matrix... features: phone booth. flying. cliffhanger. rage against the machine- wake up. :) Too bad that the sequels were kinda lame... oh well. The first one was still good.

The first Matrix was alright... But the second one was slightly more crap, then the third one was one of the worst films Ive ever had to sit through.

Totally agree, that film defeated the entire point of it being a horror, it didn't scare me

SAW! how the **** could that sadistic piece of serial killing **** be lying in the middle of the ****ing room for i don't know how many hours with making it obvious that hes a ****ing live. and the one guy who cuts off his own ****ing foot to get to the gun in the middle of the room to kill the other guy after the time limit was up?! does this stupid ****ing piece of **** not realize how ****ing obvious that this serial killer is dedicated to ****ing rules?! ****! i think someone should cut off the writer's foot and see how ****ing painful it is. i bet anyone that you couldnt cut off your entire foot unless heavily drugged. youd be so overcome by ****ing pain that you wouldnt be ****ing able to cut off your entire ****ing foot. BIGGEST ****ING WASTE OF MY ****ING TIME! its pretty easy for a movie to be on my good side, i also like horrors or thrillers or whatever the **** youd call that but that film took the big ****ing bag of ****. it was the whore of **** films
