Default The Anti-Spammers League

Its said that when Vlad the Impaler took on insurmountable odds, he would put the heads of his slain enemies on pikes, lining the road to his castle. It got inside the heads of those looking to kill him, and had a devastating effect on a battle outcome.

I say we do this with spammers.

Lets say some ass comes here to post about some nobody artist for who knows what reason. Mod's lock the thread, ban the guy, remove any links. Good game. But what if we then PM a mod a review that doesn't paint said album/artist in a favorable light and they post it under that spammers post, while leaving it locked.

You could even add to the end of the Subject " - This is what happens to spammers."It doesn't even hurt the spammer, it hurts the record company and artist as well, because whenever you google it, that review would come up (albeit way back in the google finds).

I should mention I think this is wildly unnecessary and isn't going to improve anything enough to warrant the effort, but I sorta like the idea of a spammers elephant graveyard. Something that may get these idiots to go "it isn't worth posting on that MusicBanter site....those guys are *******s."
