So then, who lives in London?

I demand to know.

Well, lots of people do. Im sure if you walked round the streets for a bit you'd find some.

Urban Hat€monger ? 03-24-2005 01:11 AM

I already live in a overpriced ****hole , so I guess I could pretend I live in London

jibber 03-24-2005 01:12 AM

Get me a heater and some seriously strong smelling salts and I could be living in London.

Kurt_Cobain 03-24-2005 11:00 AM

^LOL
I live right on the ouskirts of London. Tis like a short train journey to get to London, not that I go cause most places in London, and England for that matter, are a **** hole.

...well Birmingham seems to be getting a bit better than it was, although the Bullring just annoys me...

Spanky2501 03-24-2005 12:06 PM

Wow!! Whats with all the negativity towards London? I'll have you know its a lovely place to live..(although i guess im a bit biased seeing as i havent lived anywhere else)

And what's this about unfriendly people? I have no idea what you mean, of course no one is going to stop you in the street and give you a warm hug, but can you say that's true of anywhere else? So why have we got this label as unfriendly people?

covle 03-26-2005 12:40 AM

my sister lived in brixton for a year. unfortunately shes back here now.

Glasgow dude, its where its at!! People genuinely do stop you in the street and talk to you, okay maybe not a hug, but you can't queue at a bank, wait for someone outside a bookstore, buy a cd, go for a piss in a public bathroom without making a new friend. Seriously the difference is noticable when you go to Edinburgh never mind down to London. People just aren't friendly to random strangers, they look at you funny if you strike up conversation on the tube. Whats with that?? Don't people talk to the people they sit next to on public transport?? Or is that just Glasgow?
