And the quakes still continue:(

I have a friend on twitter who lives in Christchurch. She's been tweeting fairly regularly about it. It's unusual for it to drag on this long isn't it..

Not really they can go on months even years after the main quake..........Apparently all the energy from the main one is redistributed by the aftershocks as the ground realigns it self and we're only a third of the way through the process.

1900 so far.

Where's the quake? Haven't been watching much news lately...

It happened in Christchurch, New Zealand on the 4th of September.

We've had 1911 aftershocks in that time and they are intensifying in strength

I'm getting really sick of them eh Cheese. My mate made me crack the ****s last night because he started jumping under the covers and pretended to be freaked and it made me scream during an aftershock! It's not nice when you get big ones when your up a few stories and there are stories above you that could technically collapse.
