Your statement was a little weird, but certainly not offensive or rude in any way.
And never apologize to The Batlord. Whatever one says to him, he deserves it.

Good rule of thumb: can anything you say sound correct coming out of the mouth of a dudebro (e.g. "I don't watch porn, I have sex".)

Since this is the confession thread, and to get it back on topic, mine is that I do have a tendency to think too much, and say weird things sometimes...
Until you've basked in the ****storm glow of a post beginning with, "I don't really like poor people", then you're fine.

I knew him too. He had a limp, bit of a hunchback, followed around by stray cats. He was really something.

I feel that way sometimes with all online activity, not just forums. (one ex: reading news stories that will never affect me). Not sure if what you mean is that you're not getting enough likes on Facebook or something. I don't think it would ever hurt to spend less time online and more time improving relationships and other things in real life. That said, the way I look at forums or whatever is that I'll post what I feel like posting, and people may like it, or they will simply ignore it. The latter I think is more often the case because people have lives and their own interests. It's nice to get some sort of recognition, but the goal is never to be more than some poster on the Internet.

Now that you mention it im not getting enough likes on FB.

But again, that's also my fault cause im barely around there. i guess my dilemma is that i feel that im not always there but i expect ppl to be there for me whenever i show up. i know that's not how it works and i know this is an egotistical need and that's why sometimes i feel i should eliminate this need by simply not using the internet to socialise.

Then i think to myself: "Why does it have to be all or nothing?" and i comeback here.
