Grease/fat is delicious. It's good for your brain and hair too.
That grease is just as chemically as the other stuff you're afraid of. Anyway I wasn't solely referring to McDonalds and their ilk, but also stuff like Habit Burger, Smashburger, or pub food. Do you avoid those too for fear of buzzwords like chemicals?

If you're bringing your own creamer then, yeah, that's pretty pretentious. Why not just bring a pair of racing gloves to test drive a Prius?

Not to mention your arteries!

Given the prevalency of "crunchy," buzzword-driven trendies who probably couldn't list the names of five different trees if "Mother Earth" herself depended on it, I can understand how you would mistakenly free-associate me in that regard. But I'm not a headliner, I'm a researcher, and whenever I put something toxic inside my body, it's usually a conscious decision I'm afraid.

I'll give you this: I haven't checked into the quality of FGB&F since 2011, so you might be correct about the quality going downhill. So I take back any comments I've made on recent standards.

If anyone was feeding you a toxic amount of anything they would be shut down by the FDA. Come on, brush up on that research.

You're comparing apples to oranges. Bringing creamer to McDonalds is like bringing a gun to a gunfight. It's just good old survival instinct. (Yeah, have fun with that little bone, NSA).

As for the "arteries" quip... Just how many burgers are we talkin? If two burgers a month led to a heart attack, I doubt we'd be having this ridiculous conversation.

I don't yet have you psycho-analyzed thoroughly enough to detect whether or not that statement was made in jest.

First part is a fact, the second is in jest if you weren't aware of the first one being a fact.
