lol, I hardly think Hermoine says stuff like that because she's paranoid of every member. Damn that was funny.

WTF?!? The Cat Empire??? The successful Australian ska and jazz band? You're knee-jerking us right? Who are you?

Posting links is a privilege to those with a post count of 15 or more. Beware though that people here, mods included, do not like people promoting themselves, their band or their music here. Too often, people sign up only to advertise themselves and then leave again so because of that, promotion by new members has become prohibited.

If you really want to promote your stuff here, stick around and become a member of the community first. Wait a few months!

If it's as he says, promoting music here is a joke considering how big they are in Australia.

nope im dead straight played with many otheres before them but I am not here to promote just hang and see some stuff I may have missed

Wow I really dig your band's work, especially how innovative your styles are. I've yet to hear Cinema but the debut and Two Shoes are pretty great. :)

Welcome.

Oh please, do give us all your promotional links, we will wait 3 months until we decide if you are only here to promote/spam.

We kicked it up big after that trip to Cuba with Felix and Harry and you don't need my promo links. We have our own website etc etc etc I wasnt even going to divulge any of my history cept I stood accused but thanks anyway.

wow shoes is very old now
Felix and I have been recording with PK this year that may be good. Sounds cliche'd but we really don't do it for the dollar now (although we are not zillionaires)

dunno where we got the ska jazz tag lol thats not how we see it but no worries thanks for the rap. In those days it was more urban kick but we all shunned any label. Labels are bad mmmkay. lol making people move was really our thing. not like some bands who play for a specific beat ie to make the audience do some new dance etc more so the audience treated us like they were at a great big bbq in the sun with beer and good tunes yanno happy stuff.

nowadays we dont chase the sales or the airplay and there are around 40 diff musos over time. we just have fun and the rest is looked after by puter nerds in melbourne. And this is not promotion I have 2 young bands Im mentoring (gawd help them) so if that was my bag thats what I would do. As I said I am here to hang out with like mindeds and am keen to talk with anyone who collects vintage gretch axes as i have a few and vinyl I have a collection of 45k records goin back to bakerlite 78's

so there thats me
