I don't even know how to play the piano, it makes my piano tracks all the more awesome

That wasn't the good kind if not knowing what you're doing. I mean I still have no idea how to record woth a 4-track dies that stop me no I use a phone. That project was me trying to write music woth no communication which is why I'm doing **** solo now.

If you can make it sound good, you know how to play that instrument.

Yeah that first one was some sloppy execution ha. I was into it though

Yeah, I've made tracks in the past, but I've more been really sheepish about recording anything other than ideas anymore. I don't like them, and I don't want to make something ****ty. Just record what you want to, and if you don't like it don't get discouraged, if you think it needs work practice, put it down, and practice. I know I shouldn't really give advice on this, because I know for a fact that I've long stopped trying to make actual songs because I get easily discouraged, and gravitate towards something else. So I pretty much just have a bunch of unfinished ideas on cassette and on my computer along with songs I don't, or won't share with anyone.

First "song" I made, it was 5 years ago I think...

Mondo Bungle 02-20-2015 11:01 PM

I'd say that qualifies as a song instead of a "song"

Machine 02-20-2015 11:11 PM

Like that was a long time ago and I've gotten a lot better at playing and writing on general, as well as getting more comfortable with letting go a little bit and expirement which makes me much happier than playing straight.

I really like the mix of ambient and acoustic in this. Seriously, this is very good.
