those cookies were more upsetting than that time I accidentally knocked a Dr. Pepper out of the fridge and it spun around and left the whole room in a light coating of stickiness.

they were like 90% baking soda. somehow.

the worst part is, I was following directions on the back of a flour box.

I swear I have almost no culinary skill.

Every time I make something, it comes out ready to sing backup for David Bowie or ready for Soul Train. There is no in-between.

I don't even think I made him taste those cookies.

They went straight into the garbage. I mourn any homeless person that may have found them because they certainly willingly starved to death that night.
