When I have to pull product at work (to prevent overcrowding - my assignment is usually sweaters) I'm supposed to pull the oldest product first but the first things to go are always the ugly knitted Cosby sweaters, low-dollar and cheap brand items. I try to salvage the most profitable product first.

I'm talking REALLY ugly though. Like white trash sofa fabric ugly.

I make a point to get rid of Wal-Mart (White Stag, Faded Glory, No Boundaries, Ocean Pacific, etc.), Sears (Jacqueline Smith, Bongo, Basic Editions, Joe Boxer, Attention, etc.), Target (Merona, ?? Etc) and Jc Penney's brands first. There's a ton I'm forgetting. But I pull crappy offbrand clothing first, since it just might reach the children (now young adults) that made it in the first place when it's shipped overseas or whatever.
