It has to considered reasonable to a reasonable person, and a pair of clippers in the hand of a known associate who is on friendly terms with that person are not going to create a reasonable amount of fear. Just take your misdemeanor and plea guilty. Hopefully you will only get probation and not have to serve 90 days.

I've had a few women play smack my arm or something after helping them find something. I never really thought much of it, or considered it rude. Kinda strange now that I think about it, I generally enjoy being alone and don't go out of my way to meet people, you would think that kind of thing would annoy me.
