I actually like the colour of this forum layout...

I've kept (almost) every letter that anyone's ever sent me from the past 5-6 (maybe more) years.

I used to do that until I realized that it was like keeping the wrapping paper intact and then folding it neatly when opening a Christmas present. My family told me to do that as a kid, but they're obviously idiots.

My grandma used to get mad at us if we ripped or crumpled the paper in any way. She was one of those people who liked to reuse the wrapping and tissue paper.

I'm pretty sure the excuse I was given was that I didn't want to look greedy or disrespectful. Which is ****ing bull****. It's Christmas. I'm eight years old. Get a life.

Yeah Jesus. Thought the mother in law was going to have a heart attack first time I ripped into a package. Apparently supposed to fold that **** up like some obsessive compulsive. My fam would just go to town. Crumple that bow up if you are so inclined.

Me too! I have one from my late granddad which he wrote in German and English. I have a whole shoe box full of letters from my friends during high school. I read them sometimes and laugh at how simple my life was! I also occasionally write in diaries. I read through some older ones and there was a period where I was seriously depressed.

I wish I would have kept my journals. Instead I spent years and years and handfuls of drugs and gallons of liquor to repress everything I would have written in them.

I do that still, but I'm just one of those types that's really weird about destroying things (even when I mean to destroy them). :shycouch:

That's fine, I did the same with pills and alcohol during my early twenties. I used to write in my diary at school and no one ever noticed. I keep forgetting to add more entries on my laptop. I'll do it eventually.

I think I'm a Jaime Fox hipster. I used to like him back when he was on the Jaime Fox Show and nobody really knew him, but then after he got big with Ray and his singing career, and he was everywhere all the time, I sort of started hating him and I can't really think of a good reason why (although his part on "Gold Digger" was kind of annoying). So I have to assume that I hate him just because he's popular now. Weird.
