I'll live to about 75-80, same as most Irish males really.

Probably, yes. Although, just Imagining 10 years ahead forms a blank void in my head...but that really doesn't mean for the worse though!

I'm pretty sure my weight will get the best of me, despite numerous attempts to stop it. My arteries will clog, I'll be driving those moto-chairs around, and I'll explode in a shower of lard and self-loathing.

This is the most probable outcome, at least.

I can't imagine I'll live to be too old--I've had chronic health problems since I was kid and I smoke, drink, do/have done a fair amount of drugs, eat like s--t and don't sleep well.

That said though, the women in my family do pretty well--my great grandmother lived to be 101 and my grandma's now 90 and doing amazingly well, so who knows.

Death isn't something you can so easily predict, with faith in mind.
That said, I'm not naive either. Someone from the last three generations in my father's family have died from cancer at an early enough age, including my dad at 49. So, unfortunately, it's reasonable enough to assume I have a fair chance at it also.

I'm sure my view will change as the years go by but I really value my independence. Once I lose that, I will not be a happy panda.

Basically, no.

I don't think I will live a very long life. I'm always getting sick. But I hope I live long enough to get married, have kids, and all that cliche white picket fence crap.

Statistically, most of you will die as an elderly person.
It can't be all that bad, considering the amount of elderly people still walking around relatively happily.

"The Viagra Age" has been very good to old people.
