These are amazing. Love them.

Also with Vans, I still have a pair which I bought 3 years ago. They never fall apart for me, I have loads of pairs cos they're my favourite footwear. So comfy and they look so good.

CONVERSE CONVERSE CONVERSE!!! seriously I've had my pair for about a yr, they kill your feet the first time you wear them. Then they're like slippers. The chlorine in my work is starting to erode my poor babies.

The only thing I hate about Chuck Taylor's is how long they take to get on. That's really annoying if you have a house where you have to take your shoes off at the door.

Aw yeah definitely, the sides of mines often shlop into the shoe so I have to pull out the top lace holes, and the tongue almost always goes to the toes if i dont hold it when im putting them on :( still love them though <3

I'm going to denounce every other suggestion and your own criteria and say get these (this?).

I prefer my shoes nondescript, and capable of wearing/walking comfortably in. Although I did see a guy wearing chartreuse orange shoes today, and I immediately wanted to take him fishing.
