I too am trying to kick a coffee habit but I drink lots of Earl Grey to mitigate the comedown. Found a brand of loose EG no one's ever heard of and it's the best I've ever had. Really rich taste. ![]() |

I've been drinking Hibiscus Tea as it's supposed to be a mild diuretic. It's also supposedly caffeine free. I also find it rather relaxing when I'm lying down for the evening. It might be an option for those trying to get off the caffeine.

My daughter attended a family friend's engagement party in Boston that I had to miss - and the mother of the bride-to-be (Indian/Hindu family) served chai tea at the event which my daughter said was the best she ever had. The mother kindly sent me a box along with a recipe for masala chai. Haven't been able to make the recipe as yet, but tried the tea on its own and it's really very good. ![]() Last edited by ribbons; 01-10-2023 at 12:46 PM. |

It must be some other stuff besides caffeine that makes coffee the poison it is cause I can have lots of really strong EG tea and feel fine. Like caffeine alone is not the whole story |
