I wouldn't be to keen in thinking that by purchasing one of these phones I'm boxing myself into extremist consumer ideals. It's a convenience I'd gladly take advantage of if it makes my life easier for a sparse cost.

I agree, to an extent. I think they're just flashy, oooh my phone has this ap.

People must find it really handy for working. Last minute research of a business you're about to pitch a proposal to do, especially if you're un organised and leave things to the last second.

I have a $99 phone. Does the trick. I'm only interested in getting the iPad eventually.

I'm not against technology and convenience... I just don't see much convenience coming from a smart-phone that's worth the price of it.
