Other than linking to his site possibly qualifiying as advertising (but people provide links to journals all the time) I don't think he is breaking any rules, I don't think there is a rule that states you have to contribute to more than one thread as long as these posts actually contribute to the discussion and so far all of his comments have been friendly and informative. I don't think he is spamming at all. He has contributed to this discussion more than anyone else.

Thanks boo boo.
I had actually taken a look at the rules before my initial post, but I just took another look to be sure, and I can't see any requirement to post in more than one topic. I did see the rule about links in signatures, and I'm happy to fix that. As far as I can tell, that puts me in total compliance with the rules as posted. |

Bewbs, you're my dude and although you're annoying as fuck sometimes because you wear your heart on your sleeve and stick your sleeve out as far as it can go and sometimes shove my face directly into your sleeve so I can closer examine the status of your heart, you're cool with me.
I think the fetish is sweet. Y'all arn't sickos. Its actually kind of normal. You appreciate left of center aesthetics and the sense of touch. Its sort of adorable even, because it makes me think that loo loo wannabe Sinead O'Conner girls that shave their heads will meet guys like you and have a really sweet romance or something. And maybe even, everybody will meet someone thats into the same retarded shit that they are and just be happy faggots forever and bang over and over again. So like, feel free make your forum and sell your beard clippings to chicks with bald vaginas. I think bald chicks look like giant babies and although I'm sort of disgustingly easy, I'd probably think about babies too much to get my genitals to work for one. This is kind of the gayest thread ever but I'm glad you have a safe place to talk about how pretty scalps are. |

Songs about Hair and Baldness
Quote:
I started an Activist Song thread under "General Music," baldy, so that you may post there if you wish to post about any bald songs you like. Then you'll be posting in two threads! I googled "bald is beautiful" and found this song which I feel is very empowering, although it is not all about baldness: India.Arie - "I am not my hair." The lyrics say: "I am not my hair, I am not this skin, I am not your expectations, no. I am not my hair, I am not this skin. I am the soul that lives within." I thought you might like India.Arie's song because the singer mentions you can shave off all your head hair (like an African Queen) and that does not affect who you are as a person. The song encourages people not to feel pressured to have their hair one particular way or another--not to feel bad if it is natural, not to feel bad if they have no hair at all. I feel it has a very nice message! Are you familiar with this song? And here is a genuine Bald is Beautiful song though this one is more about men losing their hair! However, it is a step in the direction of all people feeling comfortable with baldness.

I've been reluctant to post in the other parts of the board because I haven't quite gotten a sense of how seriously you guys take your music around here. I just stumbled across this thread and found what appeared to be a kindred spirit, so I popped in to say hello and ended up staying. I've got pretty wide-ranging taste in music, and a substantial collection of stuff mostly from the 70s-80s (pop, new wave, metal, prog, southern rock, blues rock, Canadian rock), but I wouldn't say my knowledge of music is that in-depth.
When it comes to obscure knowledge, I'm more of a b-grade movie buff, so I'm actually a fan of Persis Khambatta on multiple levels. |

What's with the Britpop tag people keep lumping me with lately, I've barely touched it in about 6 years.
I only listen to about 3 bands from then.
