I love Ki 'cause he's the love of my life. His gender identity is irrelevant to me. If he decided one day that he just couldn't live as a male anymore, I'd be ok with it. I'd support him every step of the way until he was comfortable with his body and secure in his identity. I'd just have an awesome, sexy girlfriend instead. As for me I'm pretty comfortable as a woman. There are obviously some things that make me wish I wasn't, or make me feel really uncomfortable about my gender, but for the most part I'm happy as a woman. My sexuality, however, is a totally different matter.

It's just that I love him and can't imagine life without him.
And I don't mind so much what's in his pants, as long as I'm the only one he loves. (Is there a term for that? I feel like there's a term for that but I can't remember it off the top of my head.)

If they both did it at the same time without telling each other and then met up at home would it be awkward? At least they could just trade clothes.

I'm not exclusively straight but I don't consider myself a lesbian; I'm not equally attracted to both sexes, and I don't really have a chosen gender that I'm attracted to. I guess the fact that if Ki was a woman I'd still be crazy for him sort of speaks for itself. If I love someone, I love someone. I don't really care what's in their pants.
I don't know, man. Being a transdude wouldn't really work out that well for me. With hair I can sit on and naturally feminine habits, I think I'm best suited to be a woman. But to answer your question, I'm sure there are trans couples. I think I know a female-to-male who's with a male-to-female (if I'm not mistaken - I don't know a lot about his life, just that he's an artist and he's pretty cool) but it wouldn't surprise me if two trans people got together because they'd understand each other's struggle.

The words you are looking for are unconditional love.
