Good education is overrated, you don't get the life skills at a posh school you do at a shit one.

I wouldnt go that far. I went to a private school and I'm pretty sure I've learnt plenty of life skills. But then again, define life skills.

I got bullied by the cool guys because it was co-oed and they girls left me alone funnily enough.

At my school it was pretty bitchy, but nobody really cared. Had a bit of a stoner atmosphere, at least with my friends it did. Not much bullyings surprisingly, for a girls school and all. I hated it though..

Knowing how to stop yourself getting the shit kicked out of you, because a bigger kid has an irrational problem with you. Them type of life skills came in handy when someone kicked off with me in a pub. People around here in private schools seem clueless to the real world, too wrapped up in themselves. Worried about their results, when they've had thousands thrown at their education. Meh, not for me. I'm not a believer in it.

That must be a British thing, because overall, NZ is a very relaxed place. I never hear about people getting beat up. And only if they started it first on a night out in town and they were all trolleyed. We dont have people like chavs here, so not even that many girl fights.

I went to England for a summer and I kind of miss the action
