I agree. On the other hand, Brit sitcom is only funny about 5% of the time. And that's being generous. Most of it is unwatchable. Even the good ones are only funny in brief, fleeting moments.

They made a US version of Life on Mars?
Why can't they just use the original version without trying to basterdize everything? I wouldn't watch any of them if I was paid, and I desperately need money. |

And yeah, I dont get remakes. I know US networks will show originals as well but I dont understand the need for a remake of a lot of it. It's not something we really do. We do it with formats, like game shows etc. But remakes of series seem to be far rarer. |
