I don't like it when people are actually looking forward to the end of humanity, but I don't really like it when people think they can save it either.
I'm rather misanthropist in that I hate a good majority of human beings but I know that a good deal of human beings are decent as well. It never hurts to be optimistic. But my policy is, I don't want to be a savior of mankind, I just want to live my life and if that sounds selfish... Well that's because it is. But humanity is just a neverending cycle of stuff, human society is gonna be what it's gonna be regardless of my input and I'm just so detached from society but while I may be self depreciating at times I'm really fine that I don't have to define myself by the people I hang out with or the social groups I'm a part of or whatever. I don't need to play superhero to feel better about myself, I'm just so privilaged to be alive that I'm not gonna waste my life trying to save all the people I don't give two sh*ts about, just for some kind of moral worth status. I'm ok with not being a man of the world. Though I'd still like to travel the world one day but that's never gonna happen. I dislike the attitude of neo hippies who basically say "you're one of us you gotta do sh*t to keep the sh*t together" and whatever. F*ck that, just because we're the same species doesnt mean we should be forced to live together. And Bungalow you can just piss off if you have a problem with that. Holden can't stand being away from the family, he'll cry outside my door if I shut him out. He also runs out of nowhere when any of us come home, but my babycat was hand raised by me personally since he was a week old (when him and his siblings were found, they still had their umbilical cords attached), so he thinks I'm Mama Cat. |

I guess it depends, I think stray cats are far colder than cats you've had as kittens.. Stray cats seem to be evil little fuckers. Stray dogs are just grateful you've saved its sorry arse!

For the most part the stray dogs part is true! My dog Nico was like that, but you can tell by the way she acts around males that she was beaten
Oh and the stray cats thing is not necessarily true at all, because we had a feral cat at the rescue I do a lot of volunteering at, and he turned out to be very sweet, just very timid at first |

What kind of cunt would beat up a dog? Honestly. But yeah, kitten cats I imagine them to be quite loving, because they trust you. Dogs are just great no matter what. I wish I still had a dog.

I'd hardly say I encourage that behaviour. Unfortunately, when you have 3 kids under the age of 4 running around a house, you can't follow them 24/7 and kids are kids - sometimes when playing with the dogs they can get rough. Toddlers when they're first learning and exploring especially so. We've never had to 'replace' a pet - pets are family as much as people (in our house anyway), we've just been very lucky in either being able to give a puppy a home and raising it around children or having dogs that have come from a similar environment. Hence why I also mentioned about never going down the pitbull/staff etc line. And I think I read in here somewhere about savoury snacks being better than sweet? Agreed. I love sweet but have to be in the mood for it. I can eat crisps or crackers and cheese all day long...
