Well, you are one of them that doesn't like the word woman because it has the word 'man' in it...

So you're not really gonna win. Unless you just say she's a 'female officer'.

Girl/woman/female/bint/sugartits, it's all relative.

Yeah, it's like they're saying there's so much more to a woman than a man. What's up with that? Speaking as a man I am terribly offended.

But I agree with you that in a college setting people often refer to a group of "girls" and a group of "guys" just out of habit without meaning anything derogatory by it. Yet to me it still sounds like people are trying to make women seem less than fully adult. "Guy" at least doesn't have any age connotation to it.

When I hear someone referring to a woman as a "gal," I always think he's going to slap her ass or something.

Yep, woman = wo man. Sigh.
Ok what do you think of women who act overly girly/dumb and look like this:

Definitely the type of girl you'd slip one, though you'd be out the door so f*cking fast and you'd wipe your knob on her curtains on the way out. Being in the company of girls who act up and act all cute and silly is so f*cking irritating.

No, they make me and so many men so f*cking angry. They're so cute and silly, yet they seem to lack any real substance to their personality. They tend to have no political views whatsoever (I mean, I'm not an expert or anything but I take some kind of interest). They tend to have a very generic taste in films and music and just have nothing of interest to talk about, other than the occasional crisis talk about how her and her gal pal have fell out or something sh*tty. I hate girls like that. Women that actually have conviction in their opinions, even if they're different to mine and are actually willing to discuss them and call me out on some of my opinions that she doesn't agree with is such an attractive trait.

the only words that piss me off consistently are words that are almost always misused in a derogatory way, specifically "g@y" and "retarded" because, honestly, 99% of the time, they're used as if being one of those things is the worst possible thing you could be, having no respect for people who actually *are* that way.
