I totally agree here. I have no problem with the jocular euphemisms for dying like carking it, kicking the bucket and biting the dust but "passed away" really annoys me as a respectful euphemism. It's almost offensive in that it attempts to reduce the impact of something whose impact most certainly cannot be diminished by a couple of words. There's nothing respectful about trying to glaze over something that serious.

Agreed. I'd rather just say 'die'.

Dunno if we can list phrases, but I hate it when people say 'don't be a girl!' or 'you're such a girl!' implying that they're cowards or something. Being a girl, i do get offended by this. A lot.

Actually I came up with a few.

Drama - People who say this are getting out in front of the issue. They generally don't want to be seen as the drama queen twats that they are. I hate you Mary J. Blidge.

Tweak
- Mostly because of my boss. i've come to know the word tweak as "delegate and then jump in at 90% completion and change everything." I wish white america knew that it served as "taking meth" too, maybe I'd hear it less.

Its also got too many roots in the "Korn" culture for me of swiftys, fieldies, tweakers, and every teen idiot that made their handle in one realm or another any combination of the following

Prefixes - Crazy, Evil, Freaky

Suffixes - Clown, Monkey, Dog, Kid,

Well the word is Raindog technically, but it isn't being used in the same capacity.
