ipods? No way. I can't live without my ipod and I doubt anyone here could either (well...an mp3 player at least). I loved the days of CD's...but come on. Every album I own in one tiny place? How is that overrated?

The only problem with iPods are you can't fit all your music on. Especially since I bought a 30 gig in 2005, back then that was an unthinkable amount of GB.. now it's filled up, if I want to upgrade to one with a bigger memory, it will cost too much. Ipods aren't overrated, they're overpriced.

I can definitely agree with this. I recently upgraded to a 160GB after my 60GB died on me...though it set me a back a few coins, I am definitely loving the space.

How much are 160GBs? That's what I really need, the space would be great. The thing about music, it's always gonna go up, never down. Unless you decide to trim some albums from your collection that you don't like. We all have them, the ones that are just sat there and you have no intention of listening to them.

Well, I lied. I do have a choice. I could get one of those silly iPod touches, but they're quite expensive and I would probably never use the other features. I could also get one of those tiny iPod Nanos, but I feel like I would lose or break it. Also, both the touch and nano don't come with enough memory, so I'd be cherrypicking from my library what I want to put on them. |

I paid $270 USD for mine, which converts to (if the online converter is up-to-date) 186 British Pounds.
A pretty shiny penny. EDIT: That included taxes.
