Almost anyone who plays an instrument is hot. The one exception I have seen is my mate Garry who is exceptional at Guitar, but he plays it wearing a chelsea trackie lol. It makes me laugh alot right enough. Instruments = hot. Unless its something small and girly... like a triangle.

Women are attracted to musicians... and that leads to a step forward...

Women are attracted to musicians because they need d***, and since musicians are irresponsible, they'll probably give it to them

I think it's mainly the confidence that comes with being a musician that women find attractive. Also, they are talented at something :)
|
how do you get bitter out of something great like sex?
I'm just saying women know musicians will do them, ubnless they aren't niot women |
I think men also find talented female musicians very attractive. I think successful artists and writers also have a similar sexual mystique.
A better question is why do musicians always get romantically involved with vapid, self-absorbed, anorexic runway models who have borderline moron I.Q.s and are the intellectual equal of a potted house plant? It makes me wonder if most musicians are in it for the money and the trophy girlfriends. |

I don't know. I think people in general are attracted to those that have the balls to do something that most people don't. But on the other hand, people that have submitted to the accepted "success formula" (i.e., school, good grades, college, desk job...) tend to hate people that take the chance that they never did, which is to make a life out of something they love.
And yes, there will always be rock stars and pop stars and their trophy bitches who will stick around as long as the bling and Tiffany is still there. |

Is it because women have less talent than men? No, they just don't have the motivation to become musicians. For guys the greatest motivation is money and poon tang, and women are capable of getting those things just fine without having to pursue a career in music. Hot woman in pop music are usually not too motivated to become better musicians because they already have all they need to sell records and that's sex appeal and a good producer who can make their complete lack of talent aesthetically presentable. Now I don't mean to say that talented hot chick musicians dont exist, they do, even in pop music, though a lot of them like Christina and Mariah are only talented as singers and not as songwriters or serious artists. Hot female musicians who can actually write songs AND play their instruments are quite rare, but I think that's merely a reflection of the social environment and not because men are inherently more talented. |

On the topic of female musicians, there are some who I don't find necessarily pretty or hot, but the music that they make and their presence are more than enough to make my heart swell, so to speak (Alison Krauss for example). But there are some who are undeniably gorgeous who also possess unbelievable amounts of talent and integrity. It's always the voice that gets me. It's a certain sound that they make that sounds like a ****in' angel. It's something that seems to be missing from Pop music. A big reason why I don't listen to it and it's easy for me to see that it's sex that sells it. |
I'm a hyperbole specialist so yeah I'm fully aware of all those things.
I'm not like Gene Simmons who thinks every musician ever is only in it for the money. |
Etta James is an old fat black lady that looks like a diabetes commercial, but when she sings I want her to rub my back before I eat her out
Lets Straighten it Out Etta James Sit yourself down, boy, and talk to me Tell me whats on your mind Don’t keep on telling me everything’s OK Cause if it was, you wouldn’t be cryin You been acting real funny when I see you lately Sittin around poutin all day long Now how in the world do you expect me to understand When I don’t even know whats wrong Lets straighten it out Lets straighten it out Baby lets straighten it out Lets straighten it out For the last few days, when I saw you baby Oh I admit, something just wasn’t right Its so many things goin through my head And I didn’t want to start another fight But if you’re tired don’t want to be bothered baby Just say the world, and I’ll leave you alone But instead of laying there crying your eyes out Me and you out to be, getting it on Straighten it out, lets straighten it out We need to straighten it out Lets straighten it out etc |
women are attracted to drummers because they know how to use their sticks

Thread ender!
Yes! |

Women being attracted to fame and wealth is the key here. They can be famous entertainers or athletes or whatever. The key is fame and wealth which attracts women. Sad to say, but true.

Why can't women be attracted to crazy, creative musicians? It's always being sensitive and writing cheesy love songs... bahahaha.
|
Wrong. Money and Fame have nothing to do with it. Musicians, bikers, badboys, pimps and guys that don't give a "f" usually play by a different set of rules. Learn the rules and you will have more fun playing the game.

I'm a girl and the last thing I care about is wheather or not my boyfriend is famous. Sure, musicians have a sort of appeal to them because they are respected (well, the good ones anyway) and people want to listen to what they have to say. Plus, theres the stereotype of the introspective, tortured kind of genius which in a way every girl kind of wants. For me, the less famous they are the more attractive I find them. |
Musicians generally have money and are popular, and we know how materialistic most girls are.
|
It's not about money because all the musicians I know are poor. Even semi-successful ones.
I always thought chicks were attracted to musicians because they were sensitive and could express their emotions... via music. Or some crap. |
The way I see it, people are generally attracted to talent. In natural-selection terms, talent is an advantage where the lack of talent is not. A talented musician, or a talented artist, or person of any trade is a more viable mate than someone without that talent. It speaks to success and security and an ability to support.
That would be a basic, innate desire and attraction... that a mate be good at something. It's only logic that it makes more sense than simply going for an attractive physique that had no capability of supporting offspring. But where musicians come into play, and while I think talent would be an underlying force in the attractiveness, I think it's important to keep in mind the media overlay that has been superimposed on musicians since the beginning of the whole thing. Musicians are often chosen for their physical appeal, extensively dramatized and made into icons in order to sell the music to a larger audience. This has been happening for a long time and is part of our culture and ingrained in us as developed humans. I personally think that the main reason that PEOPLE are so attracted to musicians is mostly because we've been conditioned for it. Had musicians remained a bunch of drum-beating natives with no edited videos and purely the sound of the music, I don't think we'd have quite the same reaction we have today. |
I'm going to go back to the irresponsibility thing
I thing women are attracted to musicians because they know we'll bust it in their mouth, instead of going, "Oh hey, Hi, I hope you're happy. Do you think I could, maybe, if you want, if you don't mind, let me bust it in your mouth?" so to reduce: irreponsible don't waste time being too nice ---------------------------------- bust it in their mouth I think I'm going to write a self help book |
