Need Help With A Tattoo
 

Hey everyone,

Im looking to get my first tattoo in a few weeks and since music is a big part of my life it will for sure be incorporated into it. I want to use music notes from a song that really inspires or me explains who I am.

That's where you all come in. I need suggestions of songs that you find inspiring or you believe tells a great story. I know it comes down to what I want but Im hoping some of the suggestions will help me find what I need to make this tattoo some special

Bahahaha. Thats a good one lol. If it wasn't for music I wouldnt be here today honestly, being able to write songs after I lost my sister helped me get by. There is more to it then just a tattoo of what I enjoy, its my lifeline.

if you have to ask a bunch of strangers what symbol you want to permanently affix to your body, perhaps you should think twice about the whole endeavour...

I agree, it will be on there most likely forever, so make it something you like and not something we like. Think back to like your first song, or favorite band, your first note played on an instrument, something along those lines.

Lol thats why I put in there that I know it ultimately comes down to what I want, but I would like to get the feedback from people in many walks of life about what inspires them and maybe it will open my eyes to something I never noticed before.

I joined here because it is an active music forum. Im not asking what to get on my body, im asking what inspires you or tells you a good story.

Maybe that will open up new doors for me, maybe it wont.

Which may or may not be a good thing in your situation, depending on whether you get a tattoo idea or not.

Oh, I once helped design a tattoo that was a guitar shape filled with the names of a girl's favorite bands. That was pretty awesome actually but she got it on her side right on her rib cage. Ouch.

I set the appt for monday so I can get you guys some pictures either monday night or early tuesday.

I am pretty confident Im just going to use "The End" by Mayday Parade. Im going to use the chords from the chorus.

That's what happens when you are friends with tattoo artists. When you pass out drunk, you don't get the normal permanent marker penis on the forehead...you get something really memorable.

Shocking I tell ya. 0 posts and the only thing they could generate was the tattoo they should have. If you don't know, how the hell can others decide?

Do you want a tattoo or not? The whole point of them is to be individual and have what you want. That's what I decided early on. If you need some sort of justification then you shouldn't have one.

They did say what they wanted
They just wanted ideas for how it should look.

I'm not justifying the thread, just saying they did decide on lyrics.
