Minus the phone (I splurged on an iphone a couple months ago) I need all of those things, too. Damn I hate not making a lot of money.

Yeah it sucks. BUT!!! Come the new year, I will be (barring any unforseen disasters) 100% debt free! That means my useable income will increase by A LOT! But the plan is to just put that difference into savings and catch up because that is severely lacking. So I'll buy a few of the most important things I need/want in the first couple months, then off to savings it goes and I return to my normally scheduled budget (blah).
