Is that a question?

I always thought Jager tasted like black liquorice.

Not quite sure what you mean by cabbage liquor. You might want to expand on that for us non-Einsteins.

That it does. Licorice flavor all the way. I don't really know what they make it out of though, besides licorice root or whatever, who knows, but I sure do know it tastes like licorice. Worst flavor ever. My dad tried to get me to eat that nasty ass black licorice candy when I was a kid... What a shitty day... I felt like a kid being fed mop strings and being told it was spaghetti. He loved the stuff. I can't understand how someone's taste buds could be that misguided.

I love black licorice! It's a gentlemen's food, like Oysters or Caviar.

So you like it not because of its pleasant flavor, but because of its status?

I dunno man... I firmly hold the belief that if you have to get used to a flavor before you enjoy it, it's not naturally good. All you're doing is sorta acclimating to disgustingness until you reach a point where you're actually able to tell yourself that you enjoy it. Like preferring the flavor of diet coke over regular coke (if you like coke). No one likes diet coke the first time they taste it. And there's a reason for it... it tastes like shit. But you eat shit long enough, it won't taste so bad I guess.

Anyway, I guess there may be some people who like licorice right off the bat... but it's not many, I think. It's gotta be some kind of screw up in the human genome or something. I'm pretty sure if people starting liking the flavor of diesel, you'd go along with me on that.

I was always the weird kid who liked it . I have a notoriously open-stomach when it comes to food.
