Oh man I miss hearing Australian accents... Melbourne accents are fantastic and I love how they have the whole e->a thing going on and "Melbourne" sort of turns into "Malbourne". I can't really remember what Sydney accents sound like, probably because that *is* what I used to sound like. I think it was kind of neutral and harmless, not posh sounding, but not bogan either. I don't recall :S

Oh, and yes, NZers are taking over MB. We do need something to keep us occupied when we're not shagging sheep and cavorting with hobbits

No, the Melbourne accent is actually okay, its just the regular "Cheeeeken" that is ultra irritating. Plus, its natural. All NZers and Australians cant stand each other, its simply human nature.

Though I must admit, Aussie had let us some pretty decent looking guys.. Liam Hemsworth, Heath Ledger and my girl crush Miranda Kerr. NZ let out Russell Crowe. Fail.
Scotland is OK, mediocre, so many more interesting places you could visit, with a better cultural background lol. If I wasn't Scottish I'd definitely want to visit one day though but NZ is immense looking, I eventually want to move to either AU or NZ broken dream lol. Like how the english and scottish generally say they hate each other? haha.

Wow, I never noticed that before but I do that whole Melbourne 'a' thing with some words I never even noticed that fact until you just pointed it out now! It's subtle but definitely there. I'm going to try and say my 'e's properly now :/ Haha.
