Albion had influences from traders and the tourists of the day but our island had it's own individual society, language and traditions that were in force much before AD years but due to the tradition of history being orally transmitted and not written down it has been forgotten and is only now slowly being discovered through other means.

The suggestion that Britain was some backwater Barabarian society put forth by the Romans seems to be losing kudos with each passing year. There is evidence that farming techniques here predate mainland Europe by 200 years.
