Ah, someone's a Quentin Tarantino fan. Not me. Reservoir Dogs was probably the best, but I hate the scene where the cop gets his ear cut off. Not because of the violence, but the cheesy song and the dance number. Tarantino is so cheesy and predictable sometimes. Anywho, some of my favs
Godfathers 1 & 2 (duh)
Scarface (once again, duh)
TCM
Belly (hella gangsta, how many blunts do they smoke in that)
Snatch (sometimes)
American History X
Nightmare Before Christmas (Tim Burton= Godlike)
ah i cant think of anymore right now. I hate movies, really.

sleepy jack 02-21-2005 08:09 PM

Oh i forgot the nightmare b4 christmas

ah dude, the friday the 13th movies and all the freddy and jason movies are the sh*t. Freddy is so funny, I love the cheesy one-liners. Shaun of the dead was funny too. I cant believe you liked the Village. That was so predictable.

I wonder if Night Shyamalan (did I spell that right) will ever come out with a good movie again... oh wait, did he ever come out with a good movie? Signs was kinda weak, except for the scene where they first show the alien walking by the kids party. That gave me the chills (I think it had to do with the background music or something). And Sixth Sense...GOD! How many damn rip-offs do they have of that thing now. What was that one movie with Samuel L Jackson (oh forgot, he's in every movie) and Bruce Willis, where he's the mental patient. Night directed that one, forget what it's called...

DUDE! Mars attacks is BAD to the f*cking BONE. I loved it, probably had one of the best casts of any movie. Best alien movie, my opinion. F*ck Close Encounters fans. That sh*t sucked, except that annoying song. I used to play it on my keyboard, now I forget how it goes.

yeah, I forgot about American History X and Nightmare before christmas...and does anyone notice that Stir of Echoes was way better than Sixth Sense? Even though it was a rip off movie? Mars attacks kicked ass because of the Martian voices...very funny...but I must disagree with Hookers about Resivoir Dogs, I found the scene with the ear removal very exciting, and the song is kick ass still, 30 years later....

Red Ken 02-22-2005 08:08 AM

I always preferreed Goodfellas to the Godfather movies, and there's that memroable scene with Joe Pesci's character just ranting:

"How am I funny, like a clown? What is so funny about me? What the **** is so funny about me? Tell me. Tell me what's funny."

CLASSIC!

Unbreakable was a really good movie. So was the Sixth sense. I just really like his cinematography. Even in The village it was really good. He always uses really good use of color and color schemes in all his movies.

Am I the only person who thought Donnie Darko was one of the worst pieces of poorly acted, badly scripted nonsense ever made?

I think its deffinetly an aquired taste. At first I was turned off by everything in that movie but I watched it again and got hooked.

franscar 02-24-2005 03:06 PM

I think what annoyed me the most about it was the worst portrayal of a confused mind I've ever seen from that kid who was then being talked up as Hollywood's next best thing. Christ, if you want to see someone portray a disturbed mind, watch Rain Man. That Gyllenhall kid sucks.
