Default Thou Shalt Not, Thou Shalt Always

A ten commandments themed forum game for you MB folk.

Simply type two statements, one beginning with 'Thou Shalt Not' and the other with 'Thou Shalt Always'. For example;

Thou Shalt Not... think of yourself as easy-going by stating that your musical preference is 'anything, really'.

Thou Shalt Always... describe your musical preferences as 'anything, really' if you are questionned by an attractive member of the opposite sex. You want to seem easy-going, don't you?

'anything, really' is exactly what I say. How am I supposed to explain that I like avant-garde jazz and Indian classical music? People would think i'm a freak.

I thinkest not the fact of thine musical taste consisting of avant-garde and Indian classical that they shall findeth thee freakish, on the contrary it's thine own attributes they findeth freakily.

Good way to get around this little conundrum for me is to ask her to name a few artists she likes and at some point say 'yeah, [band a]! I know a couple of bands like that - [band b] and [band c] are pretty awesome too. Should definitely check them out if you're that much into [band a]. If you're on facebook I'll send you a mix sometime' and so on and so forth. Makes things more interesting.

I needn't bother with first impressions seeing as I am not single, but the amount of times I'm forced into stating my admiration for Arctic Monkeys just to engage in idle smokers lounge chit-chat is becoming somewhat tedious.
