My mum and step dad just left for Texas this morning to go get Dr. Pepper and have a romantic weekend away from me. I dropped them off at the airport this morning and I don't think they were equipped for the snow. It'll be interesting to see what happens, but I hope you enjoy your first snowman, try and make it a Calvin & Hobbes styled one

i've also learned that if i smoke enough,.....and drink enough,....i dont give a damn if my feet are soaking wet

Just wear a pair of your many, many boots. Last winter when Vancouver got hit with a couple feet of snow I was in my biker boots for about a month and a half.
As far as their destination, they flew to Houston then to Austin and rented a car from there. It sucked in Houston though because they had to sit at the terminal in the plane for about 3 hours while the road crews deiced the road, however apparently it's only raining in Austin. |

I just texted my mum the recommendation but I'm not sure if they're going to have the time considering they lost a few hours due to plane delays. I think my step dad expressed interest in seeing in, but it's hard to say what they'll do at this point.

funny, normally the snowbanks along my street are well above my waist and up over my shoulders at corners (i'm over 6 feet tall too), but this year they're barely above my knees.
thanks for redirecting the snow south suckers |
