Lisnaholic if you ever take a drive up to cancun, go to Coco Bongo. I will never forget that club, it suits a whole range of ages but was easily the best club I've ever been in.

And yeah, cancun is pretty damn amazing for partying, I went in 2011 at spring break and had the time of my ****ing life!!

No active Indonesians in here?

I didn´t know some of you guys were visiting Cancun and the Caribbean! But you´re right, "super cold" is not something that happens down here. For us, a bad winter is when you have to wear a long-sleeved shirt for two weeks.

I´m glad you enjoyed yourself in Cancun, FETCHER. I wonder if you were staying in the Hotel Zone:-

It has quite a reputation for wild holidaymaking, what with young "springbreakers" coming down from the USA and taking advantage of the fact that they can drink legally from age 18.

Has anyone tried out the discos? Apparently some of them have a "foam night" when everyone turns up in swimwear and there are all these slippery young bodies dancing around in foam together - so that´s something you´ll want to avoid, dj ! ;)

I've always wanted to head to Hotel Zone for a spring break period of time. Oh I know about foam nights lol. I've been in a few myself.

Actually parts of the Keys in Florida look exactly like that. California beaches are actually very nice. Hawaii actually is very comparable also and is part of the U.S.

I don't like California beaches. I was not impressed when I lived out there.

I will give Hawaii a pass and I haven't checked out the Keys yet so I will give them a pass until I can confirm and if they don't live up to my expectations. I will revoke said pass.

I don't know. But I think we may have differing opinions on what super cold is. To me, it's generally not a sea temperature I imagine you'd find in the Caribbean :)

I love swimming and bathing btw!

^ Thanks for the tip, FETCHER. Maybe I´ll be able to check it out one day - so long as it doesn´t mean getting foamy with dj ! :yikes:

The day tore and FETCHER went swimming together:-

What beaches did you go to in Cali? I've never had a bad experience at a Cali beach ever. I go to the Beach about four times a month and usually frequent a different one everytime.

Long Beach is as far up as I would go.

Bear in mind, I'm generally not much of a beach person anyways because I get annoyed with sand getting everywhere and stupid little crap like that.

I'm in South County. So Huntington is about as far up as I go. LA Beaches are generally much worse then South County Beaches. Long Beach is amongst the worst of them. I'd put San Diego Beaches up there with some of the best.

What San Diego Beaches are you referring to? I lived in San Diego. I think the only beach I went to in the San Diego area was Mission Beach.

La Jolla, Coronado, Blacks, Pt. Loma. All of them are beautiful. I never spent much time at Mission Beach honestly. I know Blacks is considered a nude beach but there are sections that are not incoporated by 80 year old women with no clothes on that are beautiful.
