Congratulations! That sounds amazing.

But, what do I need to know about living in London for 12 months? Help.
Where in London will it be is the first thing I'd like to ask, central and West London and yeah you'll be looking at high cost of living, but the other districts are alot less restrictive financially.

Even if it's in an expensive area she could just live in a cheaper area and commute, no? London seemed to have great public transportation when I visited.

Not at all. It's merely spiced lamb (traditionally steamed inside a stomach, these days it's a plastic bag) with mashed potatoes and turnips. I had it in a whiskey cream sauce. It wasn't amazingly delicious, but there was absolutely nothing gross about it. I could crave that from time to time.

I actually would like to try it, it can't be that bad. I mean a lot of people are put off by European foods like haggis and black pudding, but I bet they are pretty tasty. Where can a silly American like me get some of these exquisite Scottish and British cuisines?

Yeah, but the way I asked means we'd get to know where she is gonna work and then mock her for it being rubbish.

Didn't have black pudding, but I would've if I'd seen it on a menu.
