I hope nobodys asked about scotland. I've not been in here in a while. Probably not though, pretty uninteresting country.

Paedantic Basterd 03-02-2011 07:10 PM

I think Scotland is incredible. Hush.

FETCHER. 03-02-2011 07:16 PM

Hahaha, you don't have to live here :(.

s_k 03-02-2011 07:18 PM

Why not? Seems it could be worse.

Why do your football teams have such weird names.

I mean Queen Of The South? Stenhousemuir? Cowdenbeath?
What the fuck is that about?

FETCHER. 03-03-2011 07:07 AM

I'm assuming Stenhousemuir is named after the town. Same for Cowdenbeath, both have gaelic links btw. I'm unsure wither they're translated or not though.

I have absolutely no idea where QOS got their name. I'm stumped. I'll ask my dad later :).

Queen of the South is a nickname for Dumfries.

FETCHER. 03-03-2011 07:12 AM

Never heard of it :). I knew it would be something to do with where the club was located due to the 'south'. But I've never heard dumfries being called that. Probably because I've been like once. And it was shit.

Howard the Duck 03-03-2011 07:23 AM

i think if I could go to Scotland, especially Glasgow, I wouldn't be able to comprehend what they're saying

i used to watch Rab C Nesbitt on the BBC and have no idea what they're saying

Mojo 03-03-2011 07:40 AM

I couldn't understand Rab C Nesbitt, and I live a couple of hours outside of Scotland. All I could understand was that it was shit.
