I feel that as the master race, we should use animals to better ourselves, whether it be through eating them or even just the financial aspect that it brings.

Nope. Well, I think animals like cows would be content doing whatever they were made to do. But I think they are content to eat grass and roam a field all day. We are the master race because we are smart and create things that are beneficial to the world. The advancements of man over the past 100 years is astounding. Obviously animals aren't going to solve any world problems with their knowledge. They don't have common sense.

As for dogs, i guess that's just society's preferance for a pet rather than a pig. I sure as hell don't want a pig as a pet, but would love a dog as one. Doesn't really involve intelligence. Dolphins are supposedly very smart, but they aren't practical as pets, just like pigs aren't. Also, dogs can't be cooked to make delicious bacon!
Uh

So yeah, most of those advancements are made by a very, very small part of the populace, so by your logic almost, we should eat the people who aren't making the world a better place. That makes about as much sense as what you're saying here. After all, what else are they good for?

That fact that you think we're the master species.

And zero advances made by animals.

Basically I am trying to say that humans rule the Earth. We run everything. Not animals. People have the ability to potentially leave the world in a better place than when they arrived. Or to make significant impacts on the lives of others. Animals aren't smart. They are just different than people. And I think meat tastes really good and is good for me and I've never saw anything wrong with eating it.

Also, i said 'race' a lot, but I guess it would be more like master 'species'

No. The advances are good for OUR species. Not for animals, not for the world. They help their own species and find ways for THEM to advance.
We're not helping everyone.

And a lot fo our technology and 'advances' hurt us.

Okay that's great but that doesn't invalidate what i said, if you believe animals were "made" to do certain things, who are they made by? that would imply that someone is above us "running" things as you so eloquently put it, unless you mean to say that we created them....and that would just be absurd

Exactly, good for our species. And I think that the advancement of people is all that really matters. Some advances hurt us, but the majority are for the better. I doubt anyone would argue that life in today's world is easier and a lot better than it was 100 years ago.

I don't know how animals were made. Obviously not by people. I don't really care how animals got here, or how humans got here.

Maybe I misunderstood what you were asking. The way you said things was not very clear.
