I didn't say it justified it. I said there was no defending it. I just said that if it wasn't for Youtube and maybe the internet in general, we might not even know about it. I mean yeah, maybe it would have gotten around because he's famous but how can you be sure? I mean, without a video of it or some kind of recording of it, who's to say it would have been picked up on such a large scale by the press, or even at all?

Dave Chappele's two stand ups are classics... Every single jokes hits hard. I think he's miles ahead of everyone else. I've watched them a hundred times by now and crack up every time. Guy is funny as hell and I am hoping someday he comes back with new material.

Still, mobile phones seem to mean that whatever happens, wherever in the world, someone has a video of it. That video is then instantly uploaded to the internet and so someone like Michael Richards is instantly shamed just minutes or hours after it happens. I just wonder what it is we haven't seen before mobile phones and before Youtube.
