A little update for the squadrons of you busting bollock to find out how my sleep-deprived day went, i ended up getting an hour and a half's sleep, sat in traffic on a bus for about an hour to get to a place normally 20 mins away, literally sat in the lab all day staring into space, then getting on the bus to go home and falling asleep for the entire journey (i HATE sleeping on public transport). I now cant go out to a show tonight because i'm literally struggling to keep my eyes open. Guarantee i'll be knocked out by 10pm. FML.

A day is too short.
If a day was 30 hours long my sleeping patterns would be perfect.

I do this ALL the time. On weekends me and my friends will normally hang out ntil around 3 or 4 am and wake up around 12. Usually if we do this on a friday we will do the same that saturday and I always use sundays to recover and usually sleep most of the day and end up waking up at like 8.
I actually looked into this because it was such a pain in the ass having to function in school with no sleep and I found that getting 4 hours of sleep is more beneficial than 5 hours, although 8 is the recommended amount as most of you know, so usually if I can't get close to 8 I'll just hang out until its about 4 hours away form when I wake up. |

When you sleep for 4 hours and wake up, it has the effect of the afternoon energy naps. When you sleep a bit more, you'll surely wake up tired.
Unless you're a morning person, but I was never able to wake up relaxed.

The night before Thanksgiving I went to bed at 5:30 A.M. Then I slept in till 3 and did nothing the whole day.... then proceedingly went to bed at 3 he next night. So yeah my sleeping pattern is a mess.
I'll share a special experience with yall though. The first time I got one musicbanter and actually posted something was when I was at a friend's house and was the only one awake at 6:30 A.M. (Yes I had stayed up the whole night on my own) |
